"The Fendi muse for fall/winter 2017-18 collection emerges at dawn: a cinematic character pacing the streets of Rome," the notes continue. It would seem that this season, Karl Lagerfeld and accessories designer Silvia Venturini Fendi time traveled back to 1925, the inception of the fashion house, to "frame the Fendi muses free spirit" (as they put it) in heritage-inspired looks that would carry her from day to night and back to day again.
